A fundraiser for the Railway Children Charity

Great British 3 Peaks of England, Scotland and Wales (June 2022)

There is nothing like kicking 2022 with a challenge and putting the previous year behind us – a great challenge to raise money for a brilliant charity – RAILWAY CHILDREN Charity– ‘fighting for street children’ https://www.railwaychildren.org.uk

We have a small THALES UK – CONTRAX team of myself and marathon runner Aurelie representing CONTRAX with two great athletes Andrew and Suk from THALES UK joining forces and our combined enthusiasm and energy – (with a little bit of fitness, lots of humour and a few Mars Bars!!!) to tackle the Great British 3 Peaks of England, Scotland and Wales in June 2022 all within 36 hours. We aim to put the Railway Children – THALES – CONTRAX flag on each summit.

We are combined to support the Railway Children Charity and raise as much as we can to support them.

The Railway Children Charity provides protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to. Every year thousands of children across the UK, India and East Africa run away or are forced to leave homes that have become unbearable through poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. The children find themselves on the streets and open to violence, abuse and even worse. Reaching a child as soon as possible is crucial to getting to children on the streets before an abuser can, and before they become entrenched in street life. Railway Children race to get to children before the streets get to them. We can help Railway Children with the funding they need.
